Hello hello hello.

How much I enjoyed reading all your comments to my last post on lagaandvd.com !!! I was absolutely in splits. And, I have to admit, also very touched by your responses.

As I said earlier currently I am launching my site with only two features, one is my blog which will continue as before, and the second is a chat which I am rather looking forward to. Given my time constraints I have not been able to work on other features but I’ll keep adding them as we go along. For your convenience I am repeating some of the time lines that I mentioned in my last post.

1. lagaandvd.com will cease to function sometime on 10th Oct. All the posts on this blog will carry forward into the archives of aamirkhan.com, so you can still access all the earlier posts and comments.

2. www.aamirkhan.com should have been operational from 10th Oct at 12:01am Indian Standard Time. And hopefully my first post on aamirkhan.com will be up then. (Which if you are reading then all is in order).

3. On 10th Oct, i.e. tonight, at 9pm Indian Standard Time (IST) I will come on for my first LIVE chat with y’all. I will remain live for precisely one hour 9pm to 10pm. SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE THAT. And feel free to use the chat even before I come on, and I’ll join you’ll at 9pm.

4. On 11th Oct I will reveal to y’all the first images of TAARE ZAMEEN PAR.
This will be through a curtain raiser that will be on the site www.taarezameenpar.com . Remember I had promised that y’all will be the first to see anything of the film. Well here it is. This curtain raiser breaks world wide in theatres on 12th Oct, but you can see it on the 11th at www.taarezameenpar.com .

5. On 12th Oct the curtain raiser breaks in theatres world wide and I would really like it if y’all could catch it on the BIG screen, 5.1 Dolby surround sound and all. And yes it will be released outside of India as well, in theatres where, I presume, Indian films are usually shown.

6. On 13th Oct I will once again come on live from 8pm to 9pm IST. By now I’ll be dying with anxiety to hear what you’ll think of the curtain raiser.

Based on the problems y’all pointed out in the earlier blog Carlton and his team from HUNGAMA.COM, Kalpendu, Nishant, Ninad, Aditya, Manesh and Tarun have made alterations. Let me know what you think. Also keep suggesting ideas for what other features I can have on this site. I have some ideas but suggestions are welcome. Also I have made note of the request by a lot of you’ll regarding bloggers who misbehave, I think we will try to address that problem as best as we can.

So welcome once again, and see you’ll on the chat at 9pm.

The day after, I woke up early and after having a good breakfa-st, I ordered a taxi for the day. I had few time and much to see. I decided firstly to find Aamir’s offices hoping to meet him. I knew it was difficult to catch him. My second taxi was really better and the driver, a very nice person, even if he often stopped to a-sk for directions. Loll! He was too funny. I laugh! I didn’t dare suggest to him to buy a map of Mumbai ; being a woman I knew that I could hurt him in his susceptibility.

I let him do as he pleased and I continued to contemplate the vibrant city of Bombay. Finally we ended up finding and it was approximately 3pm when I appeared before Aamir‘s as-sistant, Miss B, a lovely young woman, who booked an appointment with the boss for the next day at his place of shooting.

I go back, delighted. Manam, my driver, leads me to a nice restaurant where I enjoy delicious specialities and then takes me for shopping. Sellers very commercials, bustle about all around me, very attentive. I try a multitude of colorful saris with beautiful embroideries. My reflection in the mirror makes me blush with pleasure, admiring gaze of salespeople swept at this time, my shyness and my complexes and I will acknowledge, for the first time in a long time, that, after all, I am a beautiful woman. Hum... Yes! Who said that the clothes didn't define a person? Loll!

I continue to visit and buy, and towards the end of the afternoon, at my requirement, Manan led me to a theathre to watch Ghajini that I had not seen yet. I invited Manam to watch the movie with me and modestly he accepted. The joy of sharing!

With our tray of nams, soda and popcorn, we sat down in comfortable armchairs. After a few advertisements, Manam, suddenly, told me to stand up. I obeyed immediately and quickly I understood why. The National Anthem echoed nicely in the room and paralysed the audience in an attitude of deep respect. I am surprised and I listen seriously, deeply moved.

Just after, the movie!!!
I really loved and Aamir, too! How sexy he is! It is a beautiful love story, distressing which suggests at the end that this love is doomed to be lived throuhout Eternity. Beautiful! Well! We can suppose. My own impression…

Then I return to the hotel. A young employee, named Punam, got along well. The next morning, Day 3, we go to the general market in Churchgate to buy spices. She holds my hand and I let me guided among the noisy crowd. I buy in abundance all kinds of strong spices and many other things. Exhausted but excited, we ventured into a coffeeshop, to refresh ourselves and enjoy delicious pastries. Her kindness touched me and, affectionately, I give her a Big Bisous.

Posted on Feb,25,2009 at 12:12 PM
I returned to the hotel, leaving Punam to go back to her home. The switchboard of the hotel then told me that I have received several phone calls . My sister, some bloggers as Lalitha, Padna, Ark, Axxay some others, but also… Miss B!.
Oh yes, Miss B! Oh gosh! My meeting with Aamir that I had totally forgotten! :-p (loll!)
Oh no! I’m laughing less! Aamir is so busy and the meeting is postponed! When? I must to wait for another call to be informed! OK! I confess! I’m a bit sad. I’m seriously wondering if I’m going to meet him.

Posted on Feb,25,2009 at 12:11 PM
Half an hour later, the phone rings again and, luckily, Miss B gives me another appointment. I breathe! I don’t waste more time in the hotel and order another taxi. My new driver is Aslam Khan and he’ll remain my driver until the end of my journey. He’s very Professional. We get along and he takes me to the place of the appointment very quickly despite of a big traffic in the streets of Bombay. The car stops in front of a restaurant. Humm?! … Restaurant? A dinner with Aamir?!… Glup…! loll!

Posted on Feb,25,2009 at 12:10 PM
I come into the restaurant and the manager invites me to take place at a table overlooking the avenue. I’m waiting, quitly, but I don’t know why I have the feeling that I am being observed, as a germ under a microscope. My cellphone rings….
- Yes allo?
- Hello Madam! Mr S on the phone!
- Oh yes! Hi Mr S!
- Madam! Get up and come on to the other side of the road!
- Oh! Ok Mr S!

Posted on Feb,25,2009 at 12:10 PM
I get out of the restaurant. The big avenue is filled with cars, sticked one almost bumped with the other. I’m looking around me with the phone in the hand, listening to the instructions and completely lost. As a blind person, I just throw myself accross the traffic.

- Oh Jamila! What are you doing?

And a little voice responds me…

- To see Aamir and to die! So! Stay alive for the moment! (loll!)

The humming and horns of the cars are fading. I am dazed.
I join Mr S and after greeting each other, he invites me to follow him.…

I’m going to see Aamir. Oh my friends! I’m going to see our Dear Prince! My heart is beating in my chest as a time bomb. I am in a cold sweat. Mr S, look at me with a comforting smile. We arrive in front of a door. I have dizzy spells. My legs are trembling. The door opens…my heart stops…!

To be continued…

I wish you make some kind of a follow-up movie of that. Where in that you show how the main protagonist has grown into a successful and contributing person in the society. All because his art teacher had faith in him. This conviction induced by his teacher has led him to motivate others too to the extent that a permanent positive change has been received about the dyslexic children. What do you think, Aamir? It would be a great sequel. I will read on to your other blogs here and will comment on all, hopefully, along my way. I have jus joined in. See how much i was inspired. I had always been a fan of yours. And appreciate you as a person as well, not only on screen. This inspiration has finally led me to be a part of this virtual world of yours here. Since i m not a filmy person at all. And rarely want to go to the extent of being such a buff of anything. But here i m, all because of your charisma.
